I went to a private school and the fees ate up the everything budget. I get her. Quality education is very important but so is life outside of that

I agree education is inside and outside the classroom. I would rather take my kids to a good public schools, pay for extra swimming, tennis, piano lessons and make sure I take them traveling every year, art festivals etc,and given them experience than spend money just on formal education, there is a balance.

i believe in public schools. yes, public schools are generally underfunded compared to private school hence we are fighting to get them into fee-paying public schools that deliver similar results as private schools. there's a report that came out earlier this year comparing the pass rate from grade 10-12 in public and private school, private were perform at the top, but quantile 5 public schools were a close sencond

I have the same beliefs, i feel like as parents we need to invest more in businesses than private schools. Meaning you could be saving up money for capital investments towards their businesses. Nowadays unemployment rate is very high the Corporate space is saturated even with connections you may/may not get employment.
