This is incorrect. Imma go into detail on it. Spiders eyesight is actually dookie and so they see a shadow and assume it’s a hiding spot. They aren’t running towards you, they’re running to your shadow. The most obvious example of this is the camel spider, which are not true spiders but are from a very close family of arachnids.
