10 months ago I met Takashi-san at a park. He invited me into his home, we talked for hours, and the video went viral. After that I tried calling him. Texting him. No response. (Many times) I didn't know if something had happened. I didn't know if the attention made him uncomfortable. I didn't want to keep calling if he was avoiding me, so I stopped. Then life moved fast. I went back to America. Moved to Tokyo. Winter came and went. But when spring came around I thought, I could try again... I went back to the park. He wasn't there. I had no idea what to do. And then I found out my Apple photos tracked location of previous photos/ videos taken... I went back through my camera roll, matched the building from the original video, and found the address. I showed up. Called different rooms. And he answered. Nothing had changed. Same warmth. Same kindness. Same man. For those wondering, not everyone I meet becomes content. There are people from my videos | still talk to, still visit, that I've never posted about and never will. I don't want anyone to feel like our connection only exists because I had a camera. So a lot of it stays private. But Takashi-san, I'm grateful he was home that day and was happy to make another video with me. Part 3 coming soon🤍

Seeing this reminds me of a patient I knew from my previous job. We spent many times together and spoke a lot of life in general and everything he did in his life.
