Cardio is definitely looked for mental health. It literally improves your mitochondrias efficiency and if you didn't know, mitochondria generates 90% of your energy. It also increases neuroplasticity through increasing BDNF and other things. I feel like every therapist should suggest cardio to their clients. It complements therapy perfectly with the increased neuroplasticity, which helps you change your thought patterns.
