Trevor Cormier :
"One door closes, the other opens.". Reminds me in August 2014, I noticed a woman who worked at Aldi, and I had a crush on her because she reminded me of Amy Farrah Fowler from the tv show, The Big Bang Theory. Then, a few weeks later, I saw her again and asked her out. She then rejected me by saying that she have a boyfriend. (door closed).
Then, I haven't seen her within a few weeks or so after that. Then, in November 2014, I met my wife Caroline (R.I.P.: 1980-2026), had our first date (another door opens) on February 13 (Friday the 13), 2015 since I worked 1pm-10pm the next day. Sometime after that, I saw the same Aldi lady and she told me she "forgot" that she was married and didn't have her wedding ring on. Then, in my mind I'm like: "Who forgets that they are married?". That same day, after my items were check, I noticed that she was pregnant. Since then, even after still shopping at Aldi, I haven't seen the "Aldi lady" since.
A few years later, I proposed to Caroline on October 2017, then we got married on October 13, 2018. We known each other for 12 years, were together for 11 years, and married for 8, until she passed away last month, June 5, 2026 at 5:55 A.M. (a few weeks before she would've been 46 on June 27th). We were 9 years apart and she loved me and I loved her so much until death. Now after her funeral, that door have been closed, and I have a new chapter in my life now being a 36 y.o. widower.
