@lisaontheglow: If you’ve seen my face, you’ve probably seen me talking about melasma… I’ve shared a LOT of my journey over the years—what’s worked, what hasn’t, and the products I keep reaching for. Right now I’m loving Skin EU and Remedy by Dr. Shah, but I’ve tried a little bit of everything along the way. Melasma is very personal, and what works for me may not work for you. I’m just sharing my experience, what I’ve learned, and what’s helping me manage it right now. This is not medical advice—just one melasma girl trying to help another.🤍 #MelasmaJourney #Hyperpigmentation #Over40Skincare #MelasmaCommunity #skincareover50

I’m on a mission to fade my melasma, dark spots, hyperpigmentation, post-acne marks. I’ve just started using retinoid products. I decided to try Remedy for Dark Spots. I’m hoping it works. I know they say it can take 8-12 weeks. I’m gonna try other products to see what else I can do to fade it. We’ll just all be in this together trying to figure it out.

What I’m learning in aesthetician school is it’s internal it’s hormonal so you have to get your hormones balanced and then your body won’t respond to heat, etc. and develop hyper pigmentation have you thought about seeing a endocrinologist

I’ve done myself a lot of research on my asthma cause I have it myself. It’s caused by skin inflammation so try to do your best to eat as healthy as possible and to always keep your face cool a lot of icing helps.
