@inkxsav: Hand tattoos are a regular request I see and they may be my favorite type of appointment! But I will always try to educate my clients before agreeing to take on any hand/finger tattoo. These tattoos have become so common I see more and more clients every day getting their “first tattoo” on their hands and fingers. I’m not one to tell you what to do, but I will make sure you understand what you’re signing up for before I permanently mark your body! Everyone will heal differently and your lifestyle plays a huge role in that. Your career, regular hand washing/sanitizing, the products you use, sun exposure… this can all effect the outcome of your healed hand tattoos. And don’t forget your hands are naturally going to experience more daily wear and tear and exfoliation than many other parts of your body. All of this contributes to the longevity of your tattoo. So take care of them, baby your hands for a few days while you heal and be prepared to get touchups from time to time.
