Yes ,parents left coupons in the bottles outside the door.Milky(The Milkman) would take empty bottles with tokens and replace them with milk.The freshest,creamy,milk ever.

I remeber it clearly, the bottles had like a foil top on that you pressed in with your finger to take it off. You bought white plastic coupons for milk and orange ones for juice.

Yes and even Juice was in a bottle my mother use to put the money on top of the bottle and the milky just take the empty bottles and money and leave the full bottle on your stoep.

Many moons ago it was done here in South Africa, we use to call him the Milky or Milkman and used a pedal 3 wheeler with big box on front, he was always very early before we had to eat porridge 😃
