I'm sorry, but the second your pulled over and being questioned, the phone needs to be put down. It should be a law, it's ridiculous that people sit there calling lawyers, their mother, their brother, their father, their Uncle in Seattle, it's not a right at that point, it's a privilege. It's one thing if your car insurance or DL verification is on there, but unless you have permission from the law officer it should be taken away until the stop is completed. The whole phone thing at traffic stops is getting way out of hand and demeaning to law enforcement.
