you wrong service charge is the tip if you tip where says tip you dont know is same thing with a diferent approach. where says top is if you want to tip extra or is there but you all ready tip when you paid for the service charge.

I think a lot of servers would quit because they're not going to work for a flat hourly fee. if you look it up waitstaff in the United States make more than anywhere in the world. the service fee of 15 or 20% for just no reason is absolutely absurd and I won't go anywhere that has that

The only reason servers are paying attention to your table and trying to do the best they can is because of the tip if you are not tipping them, they could care less about the service

prices are higher.. food quality is down. but what gets me beyond that is the service! the last 2 times I have gone out for dinner the service sucked and I just say please and thank you and do not complain but my TIP shows my disservice of the experience.

It should be added I like the idea but people will always complain and they don't know business. I run a restaurant and over the last month a case of tomatoes went from 2t dollars to 80 dollars for a 25 lb case. That cost was never passed down to the guest. Be grateful when you go out you're paying for no dishes, no seasoning no cookbook, it takes an army to put a nice plate in front of you just add 20 % unless you have really poor service. go higher for excellent service or cook youreself

Your right but who’s fault is that the prices that we saw back in the 80/90 are different then today they don’t exist unfortunately yes it’s sad so just stay home and cook but here’s the thing even if we do that groceries have gone up to Dam if you do and Dam if you don’t

The prices are and the quality is down because of the economy. High gas prices, higher food prices, do you think the restaurants just eat that jump. If we’re paying more for groceries so are the restaurants. As far as tipping, if you’ve ever seen the TikTok videos of the servers counting their tips, they make more money than most of American citizens
