Dear Andy Burnham, Congratulations. You're our Prime Minister, and I like change as much as the next guy. We're meeting soon, and honestly… I'm looking forward to it. But I've got a message for you, and I need everyone reading this to amplify it. You've built your message on hope. I agree with it. Hope is exactly what this country needs. But hope cannot be hollow. It has to be practical. So here are the three things I'll be asking for. 1. Link hope to a new education system. The current one isn't fit for purpose and hasn't been for a long time. Memorisation is no longer the most valuable skill. Teach EQ. Teach people how to take an idea and make it real. Don't patch it… fully fix it. 2. Give people access to knowledge outside of education. Turn job centres into dream centres. It's not about getting a job anymore. It's about creating your own. My system already does this for free, and you're welcome to use it. Use anyone's. Just make it happen. 3. Incentivise work and stop the division.

I know this to be true. China moved 400 million people from poverty to the middle class, and today we trade with them instead of fighting them. Give people the chance to create their own job and build their own wealth. That's how Great Britain becomes great again. Not by blaming whoever made it, or whoever arrived last week.
