@root.visual50: "your iCloud storage is full — upgrade now or lose your photos." it looks real. it has the Apple logo. it knows your name. and it wants your credit card number. the iCloud storage scam is actively circulating in 2026. it arrives via email or SMS, leads to a fake Apple-branded page designed to collect your Apple ID, password, and payment details. three checks in 10 seconds: 1. sender must end in @apple.com — anything else = fake. 2. hover the link — must go to icloud.com or appleid.apple.com — anything else = fake. 3. Apple never requests payment details via email or SMS. ever. to check your real storage: Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage. type it yourself. never through a link you received. save this. forward it to someone who might fall for this. #phishing #applescam #cybersecurity #rootvisual
all cloud storages are basically a scam, in a sense u pay for a company to own ur data, just create storage server to ur home that works trough modem yes it costs more but then u own both ur data and the hardware so ur data works offline and is less likely to be stolen
