@jackie.horse.sanc: Cruise had his stitches out today and I honestly could cry writing this… the surgeon said he is REALLY pleased with how the wound is looking 🥹 He said it’s healing well and as long as we continue with the bandaging, it should heal really nicely… praise the Lord 🙏🏽 After everything, hearing those words just felt like the biggest weight lifted. Plan now is just a few more days of observation, he’s seeing their farrier on Thursday for a trim, and then… he can come HOME at the end of the week 😭😭 what has felt like the longest two weeks of my life is finally coming to an end and I honestly can’t even put into words how happy that makes me. And the rest of his wounds are healing so well too, some of them are even starting to grow hair back already 😭 my brave, strong, incredible boy. So, so grateful. Always 🖤🖤🖤
