I agree with you on much of this. The only perspective I would add is this: Throughout history, people in different parts of the world have come up with same and similar ideas at the same time - not connected by physicality but perhaps through the collective energy or the nature of humanity. To assume someone stole an idea, and did not come to the same/ similar conclusion based on their own practice, does feel like an ego response. Is it possible they did steal it, absolutely. Is it possible it was the scenario above, that is a likely possibility too. Just something to consider.

I’d rather learn from the OG’s to be honest. They actually have done the work. So many people use the craft for aesthetics or to look cool and never bothering to do the work.

I stopped sharing online and only try to meet witches in person or in private internet capacities at this point. ive been practicing openly for 15 years now and no longer feel like sharing my "wisom" even matters so I stopped and only do my little etsy shop.
