What about when you spoke up and plead your case to a new VP and then after according to your managers in a 1-1 was told “you’re really good you’re just not good enough” mind you I’m a high performer and a trainer for my whole region. Never had write ups, PIPs, coaching etc but suddenly “I’m not good enough”

Ok, I'm an HR professional, first, what is “HR Law”? Your first part you mention isn't illegal to ask about your career growth or asking if they want to stay where they are. Second part, management not supporting during a new system, yes I agree that's not good but personal matters an employer doesn't have to unless it's by law. So struggling at home, not an employer issue. Employer is only required to support you during your working hours. You claim on your thrird part is an old school term. Employers don’t use this term anymore as they know it’s WRONG. Now, punishing someone for medical reasons, employers don’t punish including the freedom and rights of religion. Now, if you lie about a medical issue so you can take time off, then yes you can be “punished”. Now the document is correct, don’t sign till you have a lawyer look over the documents and finally, don’t listen to this guy or me. Research and understand your Rights and your employer's rights where you live.

academia.edu/118395502 Most bosses are abusive, but holding them accountable is very difficult in the United States because most contracts are free well on both sides

What about when the department is losing business and your boss tells you “ I need you” after she accidentally shows you a document on zoom that you could be exposed, then the department loses more business and you ask if you are exposed and says “I don’t know”, then tells everyone two weeks later “ there won’t be more layoffs”, 6 weeks later you find out you were about to be laid off but your coworker quit and as a result your job was saved, you find out from the person who quit that our boss told him and another coworker before we were all told no more layoffs that I was getting laid off. Now I feel I’m a sitting duck and I was lied to so the environment is completely stressful and uncomfortable for me. Do I have a case to get compensated?

I got my hours cut from 40 to 20 because “bathroom breaks are not a problem, but you go multiple times an hour.” Got a letter from my PMHNP stating my MENTAL HEALTH MEDICATION for my DISABILITY REQUIRES me to drink more water because I’m prone to excess sweating and heat related illness. I reached out to a lawyer in my area. It’s my first time ever seeking legal counsel and I’m nervous but I’m tired of jobs making me feel ashamed for my disability I can not help. I had to get a doctor’s note……. To pee……… and it explained in depth that more water intake will require me to need access to more frequent bathroom breaks. Why did my provider need to explain to ownership like they’re five years old how liquid intake and urination works- AFTER being punished for it and having no idea it was a “concern”…
