I think there's also another layer of it, this idea of being "starstruck". I think it's something that's not limited to humans, either. We have stories and legands about people, places, objects, and we hear about them so much that when we see the thing in real life, there's this cognitive dissonance. "This thing is something that belongs in the "fake" world of stories, and suddenly I'm seeing it in the "real" world, this is weird." I think it's the same thing that causes us to get giddy in space, or slackjawed in front of the Mona Lisa. A crossing of wires.

I feel there is something on my brain. I don't feel anything if i see someone famous, i mean yeah they are people. And yes they are on tv or screen or media. So what? They are not your friends not your nothing, if you get a signature from them, what does that give you? Nothing. I really wish I would feel something, people look so excited and happy when they do meet famous people
