MacBooks with smart battery management system will shut down the battery once it’s goes below a certain voltage. Even charging it will not bring it back to life because the chip is in safe mode and the only way to disable it is to wire into the chip itself. Avoid leaving new tech sitting for long periods without charging. These new battery management systems are a nightmare.

How do you give the battery a boost. Also I have noticed that over the fast few weeks, it takes longer for it to come out of sleep mode. Now it won’t start at all.
