Our school bus picks our kids up at our driveway in the morning and drops them off in our driveway in the afternoon. It’s the best!

I love this. in SoCal, we attend "sleep over" camp for 1 -4 weeks with horses, goats, and chickens.

even as an American we aren't immune from it ourselves sometimes one time when I went to New York City for the first time I was standing there and all of a sudden I knew York City Cop went down the street in his car with the Sirens blaring and there it was an NYPD police car I stood there grinning like a possum I felt like I've been transported into a movie or TV show it was just surreal to actually see something that I had seen only in TV all my life so I know exactly what you mean

Halloween brings out the kid we used to be. I'm a grumpy old man, but at Halloween my neighbor and I create a Halloween graveyard in her front yard, with tiki torches and a skeleton sitting on an evil throne with room for people to sit and take pictures. we're out there handing out candy, enjoying my '80s playlist and making a big deal out of all the kids in their costumes. one year there were dogs in costume too. it's great to be an American.

Everyone has been so excited about the yellow school buses! Obviously for us it's just the norm, and I guess, honestly, it never even occurred to me that other places didn't have them.
