@defnespots: London has plenty of authentic Turkish restaurants, most of them tucked away in North London. Finally, Central London has one of its own. From the music to the interiors to the open kitchen I felt like I was transported back to Istanbul. The staff was very lovely and if you’re new to Turkish cuisine, I’m very confident that they would help you pick great stuff from the menu. They use really fresh produce and quality ingredients to cook simple but classic Turkish food. This what I recommend: 🍞The lokal bread with burnr butter and tulumba cheese 🌶️Atom: spicy yogurt dip with garlic and dried chili peppers. (They specifically made this less spicy or more people would try it) 🫛Taze fasulye: Green string beans cooked in olive oil and tomato (A SUMMER CLASSIC) 🍚Sarma: Stuffed vine leaves 🥩Cop sis with rice: Diced leg of lamb (authentic sheesh kebab) 🍅Coban salatasi: Shepard’s salad that has tomato, cucumber, onion, parsley & sumac Can’t wait to go back again!! So glad Turkish restaurants are gaining a place in the London food scene❤️ #l#lokallondont#turkishfoodt#turkishrestaurantt#turkishcuisinel#londonrecommendations
