The amount of heat released from a data center would have catastrophic impacts on a place like Antarctica. When you cool a computer the heat doesn’t just disappear, it gets released into the atmosphere

Because the billionaires would have to oay 100% cost of building the electrical infrastructure to power it. When they build in our communities, WE THE PEOPLE offset the cost of THEIR power infrastructure thru higher electric bills spread across all our homes. 🙄

There is literally zero infrastructure in Antarctica. Where are you going to get the Mega Watts of power you need? The water to cool the parts? The people to work in the data center? The concrete, steel, and machinery? Not only that, you’d need to transport literally everything from either Argentina or Australia and then air lift in. This is not a serious solution.
