@cryptoking333: What then happens if the tax marginal get up to a 90% just like in the 1950s,You think you are getting tax benefits but you are not #401k #financialfreedom #PersonalFinance #crypto
Very misleading. How much you draw will determine how much is taxed. It also could be 0%. If they cancel SS it could be a trade off. You never know. Investing tax dollars you never had to pay over decades is a huge plus

That's so stupid. If you have a million in retirement you arent going to draw enough to hit a top tax bracket. You would literally have to draw over 40% to hit hit the top bracket and if you're doing that the government is the least of your worries.

Yes you’ll pay taxes. Now talk about 401k has lowered your taxable income for possibly the past 30 years. No they are not taxing you 40-50%.

401ks have let me defer taxes for years. and I get to collect intrest on that extra money. There wouldn't be a million without the tax deferment. You can do Roth conversions.

A retired couple in NJ age 65 collecting $50,000 in social security between them, and withdrawing $50,000 a year from a qualified 401k or IRA, will have an effective tax rate of 4% between state and Federal. 4

First of all, you don't pull the whole 1 million out. You take a salaried portion of once a year. If it's 50k you pay taxes on that 50k. If it's 100k than you pay taxes on the 100k. Its works just like income. Yes, if you pull it all out at once you will pay taxes as if you had a 1 million salary for that year. Take the Mics from these guys. 🤦🏾♂️
