OMG. I rounded with the female doctor before, and updated the patient on the situation. About 20 minutes later, his wife came in and he said that he hadn’t seen a doctor in three days. She rang and yelled at me for that and I had to explain to her that the doctor and I had just been in and the doctor was female. The patient said “oh I thought that was the Nurse” then I had to say “WTF I’m your Nurse. You know that I’ve had you for three days“ then he said IDK
