I heard it said, Californians are nice, but not kind. New Yorkers are not nice, but they're kind. The example was given of a flat tire in bad weather. Californians will express sympathy for your plight, but not help you with the tire. New Yorkers will yell at you for not knowing how to change a tire, then change it for you and tell you to learn to change a tire. 🤣

It’s better to be kind than nice. Because “nice” is often social performance. Nice people smile while secretly resenting you. Nice people avoid honesty to protect an image. Nice people often want approval more than truth. But kindness is different. Kindness is honest. Kindness helps even when it’s uncomfortable. Kindness doesn’t always look soft. Some cultures may not appear “nice” on the surface— less smiling, less emotional performance, less social pleasing— but they can still be deeply kind: respectful, dependable, honest, and fair. HALLO teaches that consciousness is not about appearances. It’s about alignment. Because a person who performs niceness without genuine care is fragmented internally. But a person who is truly kind—even if they are quiet, direct, or emotionally reserved—is operating from coherence instead of performance. Nice protects image. Kindness protects humanity.

Love Trevor 💖🙏🏻☮️I use to watch him all the time. I have an example- When it’s your Birthday 🎉🎂 - People who e-mail you or add to the thread on your Facebook page because they saw a notification. Yeah it’s nice, but takes No effort. Pick up the phone, go for lunch, show you care, stop pretending you do. 💯
