hey! dottore isn't going to really die. hes had playable files since the sumeru archon quests and even has weapon files, and yes, he passes the Albedo test!!

for me its less about dottore than about the direction the game is taking. I never expected it to be dark and gore like elden ring or something but back in 2020 up until pretty much inazuma ~ sumeru, the game used to have actually complex characters and the lore was promising to get exciting. everyone was so hyped for the harbingers. We had morally gray characters like kaeya and ayato. But over the last two years ve seen a change in writing. villains automatically redeeming themselves after a one or two adventures with the traveller. the morally gray side of some people being blatantly ignored. Basically the only truly evil harbinger we ve had is dottore which is crazy considering we have ten of them (11 total but 10th rank is blank for now) and all the blames of the world are pinned on him. and right now he has such huge powers, killing him is basically an impossible feat and it feels like the peak of power of friendship and plot armor which barely even worked once with Rerir and now in the same year, they want to pull the same crap with dottore. its also quite unfair because Zandik is a character that existed before the game even released (in the genshin manga) and he was one of the reasons I started playing after the game launched and now they re killing him off? It feels too childish. 75% of players are between 20 and 30, we dont need the power of friendship. And they re capable of doing it because they do it in hsr were there are fully morally gray characters that are embraced as such, actual tension between everyone NOT just the mc (who had a personality for once) and even if characters die in the story (even if they come back in another form later) they can still be playable like Xueyi, Gallagher (whom we see getting stabbed) , Misha or even Tingyun. If they did the same in genshin, we d have playable scaramouche AND playable Wanderer. We d also have playable la signora. but the devs are cowards.
