In hs I was in video pro and I was the editor for our group. One time I couldn’t make it to film a project. So we drafted the plan and I said I would edit it. These guys had no idea how to shoot for coverage and it made my job almost impossible. This guy is right you need to be patient and film way more than you think

This is so true, I always think I hold a shot long enough then it’s like 3.5 seconds. And I find my self slowing the clip and hoping the frame rate isn’t too bad

simple tip but when i started i would just cut stuff way too short and extra 15 secs wont hurt you, its always easier to cut your clip shorter in post than to make a short clip longer
