@marymargaretvoice: If your high notes get breathy and seem to disappear the higher you go… it’s because your vocal cords aren’t staying connected. When we speak, we naturally use more vocal cord closure, which means the cords are staying together more instead of coming apart. Vocal cords together = cleaner sound Vocal cords apart = breathier sound So if you want your high notes to sound clear, strong, and connected… you need vocal cord closure. Not so much that you’re pushing or yelling. Just enough connection that your voice doesn’t disappear when the song gets higher. Inside Mixing Made Easy, I teach you how to control this so your high notes feel strong, clear, and consistent. Ready to sing all your favorite high notes without losing strength? Yes helpful, thank you! Is vibrato something you can teach, or is it just an ability you’re born with? I’ve never been able to sing with one and I desperately want to!

This works for musical theatre style but what about pop? Is there a way to do this without the nasal sound?

what about losing the ‘princess’ tone in a mix ? 😂 I learned how to mix while choir singing so it’s head dominant which makes it sounds disconnected from my chest voice
