When you’re 10, one year is 10% of your life. When you’re 20, one year is 5% of your life. When you’re 30, one year is 3% of your life. Remember when we were kids and summer break, which is only ~3 months, felt like forever? Or how the time between Christmases felt like an eternity? The month between Thanksgiving and Christmas felt like ages as a kid. Now, at 33, a year goes by in what feels like less time than summer break did as a kid.
