buy green onions once and have them forever! We throw a few in a jar or cup with water....replace the water every other day and peel off any thing thar looks peelable. They grow QUICK!

My college student kid seasons the water with the packet and then cracks two eggs into the boiling broth before adding the noodles. I tried it and it's pretty darn good.

A great tip for people who buy the green onions… don’t throw the very end out with the roots if you place that in a little bit of water and put on a windowsill, it will regrow and you’ll get the use of the green onion at least two more times without having to buy more

brother I started cooking with more butter and oil, and today I added some diced onion and cooked it like how you explained to a dish I've made probably 15 times and it totally changed the way it tasted. I love what your doing here.

These struggle meals really help people out. I remember college and my mom was a chef and she shared a lot of these what she called struggle meals that really helped me out during them college years. So many cheap easy meals can be created from top ramen packs lol 😂

You used to survive on ramen noodles when I was single. I had made many different ways to help keep me full hamburger meat, chicken, pork frozen vegetables for sure, so thank you for bringing back that actually was pleasant.💜

For the green onions, if you don’t chop all the way to the end and leave a couple of inches, you can plant the bulbs. I do this usually at the beginning of the growing season where I live. I plant the bulb with about 2 to 3 inches left on it in the dirt. I then have green onions, all spring, summer and fall, and they tend to grow really fast
