I had to receive Amphotericin via PICC line for 10 days straight. Amphotericin is so insoluble in blood that any other method of administering it would have made it crash out of solution and clog my bloodstream.

hey! i have been on tpn for 6 weeks now currently with a picc line. i havent seen many other people on tpn so seeing you pop up on my for you page definitely made me feel encouraged. they still havent figured out what exactly is causing my inability to eat or drink anything at all but we are working on a game plan. i been really down and fear filled as i deal with multiple other chronic health conditions. thank you for sharing your story !!!! ❤️❤️❤️

How tailored is it? For example if you wanted to work out more would your team increase things like the caloric density or protein in the mixture or is it not that specific? Would it *need* to be that specific? Or can you do whatever you like on a standard mix?

I’m curious is there a reason your TPN’s ran during the day and not overnight?

I am so interested in the science of this, you as a person dealing with this, it's just amazing and you are amazing and I'm sure your team of physicians are almost as amazing, I really appreciate you sharing this with us.

I saw other TPN users wear gloves and disinfect more times all the IV connections. Is that something you do too? Or what you show in this video is good enough protocol wise? Have you ever had problems with infections?
