@libbymunronutrition: Here's the mistake. I've coached a lot of people through this in clinic. Men and women with hypothyroidism or active Hashimoto's who started weight loss shots hoping it would finally be the thing that worked. (Remember, if you have hypothyroidism or are on thyroid medication, there’s a 90% chance Hashis is the cause). For many of them, it didn't work at all. Active Hashis — ongoing immune attack, systemic inflammation, disrupted T4-to-T3 conversion, insulin resistance — and the GLP-1 did nothing. Because appetite suppression doesn't touch an autoimmune attack. The thing driving the weight was still running. Some saw positive outcomes. Inflammation improved, some weight came off. I won't pretend that never happens. But not one of them reached remission. And here's the context that almost never gets talked about. Nobody should be on a GLP-1 without weight training. Without it, up to 40% of the weight lost can be muscle — not fat. Muscle is the longevity organ. Losing it creates long-term health consequences that outlast whatever the shot achieved. Now add Hashimoto's into that. If your Hashis is active and symptomatic — the fatigue, the sluggish metabolism, the body that fights you at every turn — you likely don't have the energy to train consistently. And your metabolism isn't in a state to support muscle growth even if you do. So you're losing the wrong weight. And you're building a dependency. Because if the shot is the only thing keeping your Hashis partially at bay, stopping it means everything comes back. You haven't addressed what's driving it. You've just suppressed a symptom — expensively, temporarily, and at a cost to your long-term health. The Heal My Hashis Protocol is built around addressing the root cause — the immune dysfunction driving the attack — so your body stops working against you. When the attack calms, weight loss stops being a fight, and it stays that way. It’s linked in my profile. Or comment LEARN MORE and we can talk.

Sue :
I have Hashimoto’s and started GLp1 a year ago and have lost 35 lbs and continue to microdose and keep the weight off. I honestly could not lose the weight with hashimoto and menopause, it was my saving grace.
