My name is Kanyiti Nashiru Kungi Chief, but I am better known by my stage name REAL KNC MOVEMENT, also sometimes called KNC or KC. I was born on 18 May 2006 in Bole, Ghana, a place many people also call Berlin City in the Savannah Region of Ghana.
I am a Ghanaian rapper, singer, and songwriter. My music is mainly trap, drill, R&B, hip hop, and Afro-fusion, and I have been active in music from 2020 to the present. I am the founder of the 775 Collective and I am also a member of Melodic Music.
I come from Bole, and I grew up between two communities there: Zakala and Sawaba. I am the first child of five children in my family.
My father is Kanyiti Matthew Konde, and he is a bioengineer who is based in Sawla, although my parents are separated. My mother is Abubakari Ramatu, and she is a market trader and fashion designer in Bole. I have three sisters, and their names are Rashida, Hidayah, and Mariam.
I come from a Vagla and Gonja background, and I can speak several languages including Vagla, Gonja, Twi, Waala, Safalba, Mo, and English.
I was named after my grandfather, who was a chief and also a police officer, and that is part of why people in my area respect me and call me the King of Berlin City.
Growing up in Bole was not easy. My childhood was shaped by both family life and street life. I was also very active in football when I was younger and played for local school teams before I eventually left the sport.
I went to Roman Catholic Primary School in Bole, then continued to Methodist Junior High School in Bole. After that, I attended St. Anthony of Padua Senior High Technical School in Bamboi, where I studied Electrical Engineering. I also attended Bole Technical Institute.
While I was in St. Anthony of Padua, I served as the Entertainment Prefect of the school. I completed my SHS education in 2025, and I achieved an A1 in Applied Electricity, even though my English results were cancelled. But I still passed all my subjects.
I started music when I was about 12 years old.
One of the most important moments in my life was when I was riding on a motorbike with my uncles, Abdullahi and Basit, and my elder brother Abdullah. While we were on the motorbike, I
