This video only shows a portion of the practice. In other parts of China, pastures are built beneath solar panels. Over time, dust accumulates on the panels, requiring regular watering to clean them. The water runoff, combined with abundant sunlight, can actually promote the growth of grass, which also helps combat desertification. Local villagers graze their sheep there, increasing their income. In return, the herders voluntarily take on the task of cleaning the solar panels. In this way, the government reduces maintenance costs for the equipment, the farmers earn money, clean energy is developed, and land desertification is suppressed.
