Record a clip of yourself walking behind a tree. Then shoot a second clip where you step back. For the final shot, have someone else (in my case my son) repeat the same move behind the tree. Drop everything into CapCut. Place the second person clip as an overlay right when you go behind the tree. Add a horizontal mask, align it with the tree, and blend it until it looks seamless.
