Still running the original chassis piece from my 2019 UDR that started this page— but that, the tires, cage, body shell and most electronics are the only things left made by Traxxas. It’s fully fitted with 7075 Vitavon internal and external components, besides the LXshocks front hydraulic bump stops and front upper arms needed to clear the bypass/coilovers on each corner- I had to flip and chop down a hot racing front sway bar to clear the bypasses, while running a stock rear sway bar using Vitavon steering links to connect it to the axle, allowing level cornering while maintaining that stock UDR plush feel- The shell was meticulously painted by TraxxasUDRbodies on FB, Altered R/C’s killer 3d printed parts are all over, as well as ThreeDprintdesign’s indestructible rear vertical tire mount and carbon fiber paneling (i couldn’t leave out the stock rear tray so I tacked that onto the back) I also installed the Traxxas OBA sound kit, paired with Altered RC exhausts that I modified to shoot flames using a kit made by Aaron Chanphon on FB -(stay tuned)- I am in no way paid to say that each and every one of these products and services went above and beyond my expectations and I cannot recommend them enough. Most decals and all else done by moi- I did not have high expectations of having created a functional toy truck after putting this thing together, but despite the 23lbs it carries through the air and inherently unforgiving metal construction, it has endured hundreds of laps on a track not at all fit for it- proving itself to be a heavyweight champion in a class of its own.
