This is so random but I need a fic where Mike and will used to be boyfriends as little kids and would kiss and hold hands in secret until they randomly stoped and they both think they forgot about it so they don’t bring it up until a few years no contact when Mike publishes his 2nd book where the paladin and cleric have a tragic love story very similar to Mike and will and one day will is in barns and noble with Carlton and Carlton points out mikes book saying “didnt you used to know a Mike wheeler?” And will just picks up the book and reads the back summary of what it’s about and just stares in disbelief because this book is basically just filed with all of there shared stares and millions of times they almost kissed as teens it was a love letter with hundreds of pages then he looks at the dedication “to my cleric I remember and it was real to me” will breaks down crying in barns and noble and explains everything to Carlton all though Carlton is sad he understands and just says “if you love him, go get him” and then will drops Carlton off at Carlton’s place then dives over to mikes immediately knocks on the door and after a few silent seconds he hears Mike mikes voice “one second!” Then the door opened Mike stared in disbelief and will wasnt sure what to say then finally after stupidly standing in the door for 30 seconds will says “can I come in?” Mike still in disbelief opens the door wider and moves aside will then sits on mikes couch and Mike sits on the chair near the couch finally breaking the silence will says “I remember” Mike says shocked “what?” Will says “Mike, I remember it all, my paladin” after a few seconds of silence will stands up out of embarrassment Mike stands as well will suddenly says “it’s getting late I don’t know why I even came I shou- Mike shuts will up by lunging into a kiss after a few seconds they separate Mike says “stay, please” will just looks at Mike shocked “of course” after writing this I realize maybe I should js write this fic
