@drdavidmorris: Why does this injection stop working? Why does relief fade so fast? Cortisone can quickly reduce pain and inflammation, but it may also suppress the body’s natural repair processes. Over time, repeated use has been associated with weaker joint structures and diminishing relief. That’s why some patients find themselves cycling through injections… and eventually surgery discussions. Other approaches focus on supporting tissue recovery and improving joint function rather than just masking symptoms. Would you repeat a treatment that might weaken your joint long-term? #murfreesboro #functionalmedicine #magnoliamedicalcenter #rootcause #fyp #viral #shoulderpain #jointhealth #painmanagement #regenerativemedicine #sportsmedicine
yep did it for my neck and now pay for it but still refuse surgery

The problem is the insurance company won't pay for the gel shot but will pay for cortisone

Then why do orthopedic surgeons keep giving these shots if they are not good for the body!!! It’s very frustrating and disappointing!!

So why won’t insurance companies cover gel or PRP???? If the the cortisone is so bad won’t the insurance companies end up paying much more to fix what the cortisone made worse? 🤔

I have generative disc disease degenerative and in 2010. I had shots for years through 2015 all kinds of shots. I don’t do it anymore. I can’t take medicine and I just suffer in pain with lidocaine patches. This is my life. It doesn’t get any better now they never did with those shots.

I had a “cortisone flair” after my injection for a frozen shoulder. I have never felt worse pain in my life. Never again.
