@graftharder42: Pushing to failure has such a great psychological component, perhaps making up more of the overall training technique than the physical aspect. I’ve touched on this briefly before, but in recent months I’ve had a number of reps in mind that I’d like to hit before a set (usually 10) and if I hit that number, I stop - irrespective of how tired I actually am. Recently, I’ve been trying to set a number higher than that which I think I am capable of reaching and increasing the weight intensity, so that by the time I’ve hit true failure, I’m around the 8 rep mark. I’ve found that there are so many times when I feel like I am literally squeezing or pulling as hard as I can, I close my eyes and the rep moves like butter with a few more in the tank. When you train to failure you kinda have to separate true failure from the pain your muscles are experiencing. Proximity to failure is a trainable skill and as with many concepts in this art, it’s applicable to life. Art imitates life. #bodybuilding #gym #GymTok #physique #supportundergroundlifting

If you want more quiet TikToks about the quiet life in your recommendations, be sure to leave a long comment like this one or copy and paste. I don't know why, but lately I've been obsessed with a quiet, measured life. Like quiet mornings, a made bed, open windows for fresh air, studying with soft music, journaling, self-care, cleaning my room, drinking water, and just living a quiet, calm life. There's something so calming about quiet routines and learning to enjoy simple moments. I love videos of people reading books, quietly cooking, cleaning their homes, walking outside with headphones, watching sunsets, going to libraries, wearing cozy clothes, tending to plants, and sitting in soft natural light. All of this is so healing and refreshing that I can't even explain. I also have a hyper-fixation on minimalist, cozy rooms, warm neutrals, calm playlists, quiet cafes, late-night studying, quiet friendships, small daily habits, and generally soft, calming lifestyles that make everything feel slower, purer, and more meaningful.
