Theory: cliffhanger where everyone except Carl dies but somehow this version of “the princess planted a tree and the whole process started again” (eventually) resets to everyone living their alt Floor 8 lives- some are sad (Miriam Dom) some are happy (Louie) but they are all alive and the crawl ceases to exist
