@spintheglobe: Music has been a part of my life since I learned how to play the piano at age 7. I started out with Mozart and Beethoven, then discovered Bon Jovi and Tori Amos in my teens. I started out singing very tentatively in the safety of home with only my mom as the audience. Then I moved into karaoke after some liquid courage. I soon realized I had a voice, and singing became a cherished way of expressing my love for music. My ability to play the piano is one of the many things that MS has taken away from me, but thankfully I still have my voice.
