Authorities say anti-Islamic messages were written on the weapons used in the attack, and one suspect reportedly left behind a suicide note referencing “racial pride.” Clark, a former high school wrestler, and Velasquez were later found dead from self-inflicted gunshot wounds inside a BMW just blocks from the mosque.
