@myeverydayordinarylife: Chicken races at Sedalia Elementary! 🐓 Just one of the many things that makes our small school so unique and special. We love our school!!! Every student who finishes their spring break reading challenge gets entered in a drawing and then two students from each class are chosen to race the chickens. It’s something they look forward to all year and such a fun little event! Maci was picked to be a chicken racer this year and her chicken had a mind of its own. 🤣 Our school sustainability program includes raising chickens, composting, and gardening - all which happens at school and is done by the students. Such a great program! #elementaryschool #sedalia #chickens #races
