@barbaraoneilldaughter01: One of the simplest wellness habits? Stepping outside in the early morning sunshine. Morning light exposure… especially without glasses for a few minutes… may help support: 👁️ Healthy circadian rhythm 😴 Better sleep quality ⚡ Energy & alertness during the day 🧠 Mood and mental clarity 🌿 Natural hormone balance The eyes contain special light receptors that help signal the body when it’s time to wake, produce cortisol naturally, and later prepare for restful sleep at night. Emma often encourages people to reconnect with simple rhythms of nature: sunlight, fresh air, movement, rest, and nourishing food. A gentle reminder: Early morning light is very different from staring directly at intense midday sun. Please use wisdom and avoid looking directly into the sun. Taking even a few minutes outside shortly after sunrise can be beneficial. Sometimes the simplest daily habits make the biggest difference. #EmmaWellness #MorningSunshine #CircadianRhythm #NaturalLiving #HolisticWellness #BarbaraONeillDaughter #SimpleWellness
I wish! Unfortunately, in central Alaska, none of that applies to us. The sun pretty much doesn’t set this time of year. All of us are vitamin D deficient, because the sun doesn’t provide enough vitamin D, even when it’s out. Strange place to live lol.
