One Pot Spaghetti (Easy One Pot Pasta Dinner) This one pot spaghetti is a perfect weeknight comfort meal you will want to make again and again. 🤍 Tip:
Do NOT use a full box of pasta. There isn’t enough liquid for it to cook properly. Stick to ¾ lb spaghetti for the perfect texture and sauce. Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef 1 lb sweet Italian sausage ½ onion, diced 1 bell pepper, diced 1 tbsp minced garlic 28 oz crushed tomatoes 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp tomato paste 3½ cups chicken broth ¾ lb spaghetti noodles 2 tsp Italian seasoning 1 tsp each onion powder, salt, and sugar Directions: 1. In a large skillet, add a little oil, diced onion, and bell pepper and sauté until softened. 2. Add ground beef and Italian sausage. Cook until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease if needed. 3. Stir in minced garlic, crushed tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, onion powder, salt, and sugar. Stir well to combine. 4. Pour in the chicken broth and bring everything to a boil. 5. Add the spaghetti noodles (break them in half if needed) and press them down into the liquid. 6. Reduce heat slightly and let the pasta cook uncovered, stirring occasionally so nothing sticks. 7. Continue cooking until the noodles are tender and the sauce thickens to your liking. 8. Let sit for a few minutes to thicken, then serve warm. Notes: - For a less heavy version, you can use just 1 lb of meat total instead of both. - All ground beef works great if you don’t have sausage. - Stir frequently while the pasta cooks to keep it from sticking. - If the sauce thickens too much before the pasta is done, add a splash of broth. - Leftovers will absorb sauce so just add a little liquid when reheating to loosen it back up. #EasyRecipe #comfortfood #DinnerIdeas #quickrecipes #comfortfood
