@malikaqasr: That atmosphere around the Pyramids of Giza can feel almost unreal on dusty days — the haze softens the edges of everything, so the desert and sky blend together. It gives the whole plateau that muted, ancient look people often describe as “timeless.” In Cairo, dust and light scattering can turn the scene golden-beige, especially toward late afternoon. Even when visibility isn’t perfect, the calmness of the open desert against the city noise nearby can make the view strangely grounding and relaxing. Being “drawn to it” makes sense. Some places have a visual stillness to them, and the pyramids tend to do that — especially in hazy weather when the details disappear and the shapes become more symbolic than architectural.. enjoying it from my upper terrace … #h#holidayHomeGizae#egyptHolidayHomeh#horseridingPyramidsholidayEgypt
