Question, if I have a personal business advisor who’s a family member. Should I mention it. The arrangement is completely informal and he’ll have no actual hands on involvement with the company directly. Just advising me personally. He’s my grandfather who’s retired and not in amazing health. But he was a FTSE250 (uk version of Fortune 500) ceo for over a decade who grew his company from 40 million to an 800m acquisition in 11 years. And was director of 52 other companies. I feel like I should but I don’t want to overstate his involvement or seem like I’m riding on his name.
