Hi surveyor here, thats not a suitable external door, you dont have a cill with a threshold bar, hence the water coming straight in secondly the reason the walls are getting damp is the plaster appears to be touching the concrete plinth which if wet or does not have a dpm below it, the plaster soaks up the water as it is hygroscopic 1)change the door and surround 2) break the lower 50mm of plaster off 3) fit skirting to hide the gap Jobs a good un

The door looks like an interior door. I’d get a new upvc door and frame seal it in properly

That door doesn’t look like an external door, you’d be 100000x better off with a upvc/composite door frame and door. That way there would be no wood to expend and contract causing stiffness and also a lot more water tight 🫶🏼

Why on earth have you got the internal floor level lower than the external. So much wrong here compounding this issue.

I think you need a new door 😬 a uPVC would be better, wood is like a sponge when it comes to the weather. I think you’re actually missing parts because you shouldn’t have anything come underneath the door, let alone a tsunami of water😂surely you must hear the wind whistling and feel a draft as well?

There’s no no storm guard/ threshold seal. No wonder water is coming in. The door frame doesn’t look like it’s been treated correctly so the wood is expanding hence the stiff door. No seal around the door frame so water will ingress. Overall it’s a poor installation of the door and frame. Id also be asking for your money back for the drainage.
