I think if you are not in the medical field, you won’t understand. There is quite a bit of wilder situations than this. It’s always a hard choice to know what the right thing to do is as the POA. Be sure to speak to your loved ones and get a good understanding on what “they” would want.

My 91 year old mother who enjoys a full life, lives on her own, drives, has friends and is very active had a breathing issue earlier this year and went full code, so glad she did not have a dnr! Btw, no broken ribs and is living her best life still
