If you use an AMS, can you report back after you have done this a few times and used the rewound spools? I’m truly curious about your experience. I’ve heard that there can be a lot of problems with rewound spools if you use an AMS.

Change the AMS so the materials are identical and print things off that the colour doesn’t matter. It will automatically switch to the next spool when one runs out.

Just don’t print the gears and lever in PLA 😂 I did, thought it would be fine. But they got damaged after 2 spools, they still work but not for many more spools. Use something more sturdy :)

I had to reprint all the gears in Petg and it's been better. also added some Teflon tube to the slider that the filliment goes through stops it cutting the slider.

remember to always double spool. wind it onto one spool then .ove it back to another. winding the spools reverses the tightness of the curve in the pla, and strains it, respooling pits it back in order

100% it is a total life saver. Especially if you have Sunlu reusable spools. There should be a peg slot for a drill bit in the gear all the way to the right. It’s the gear/post that slides through the receiving spool.
