@thegardencentre_n: Remember the cherry tomato that decided to grow in our pineapple patch, we decided to clone it and created a few more plants. Here’s the process: 🪴Pick a healthy stem Look for a strong sucker or side shoot on the tomato plant. 🪴Cut it off carefully Use clean scissors or secateurs or fingers and remove it neatly. 🪴Put it in water Place the cutting in clean water and keep it somewhere bright. 🪴Change the water from time to time This helps keep it fresh and reduces the chances of rot. 🪴Wait for roots By about 7 days, you should start seeing progress. By around 16 days, the roots should be developed enough for transplanting. 🪴Transplant it Once the roots are well formed, move it into soil and let it continue growing. And just like that, one tomato plant can become more 😌 Have you ever tried cloning your tomatoes like this? And if you have, how did it go?
