@techcrunch: Google Search as you know it is over. The familiar blue links we’ve seen for 25 years are getting pushed out in favor of an “intelligent search box,” which Google is putting front and center as part of its all-in push for AI-powered experiences. The box will expand to accommodate for longer queries, and suggestions will be much more extensive versions of the autocomplete we’ve all seen in the search bar. On top of all that, “information agents” are planned to release this summer, allowing you to track changes made to sites, whether it’s product prices or news updates, and alert you without any prompting. And that’s just the start of #GoogleIO’s reveals today.
